A great site to find information about NZ Children's authors is the Christchurch City Libraries Kids page. 

1. Go to Homework Zone
2. Find New Zealand authors
3. Choose A-Z Authors List
4. Choose the first letter of the author's surname, eg J for Jones
5. Scan down the list to find the author you want.

LEVEL: Intermediate / Secondary

To find information about New Zealand authors, such as V.M. Jones - check out the NZ Book Council site. 

1. Go to Writers on the top tool bar
2. Choose the first letter of the author's surname, eg J for Jones
3. Scan down the list to find the author you want.

As well as lots of info about the author, there are often links to other sites at the bottom of the page.
