I have to do a project on Shakespeare, and I have a few Qs. I need to write about a paragraph on Shakespeare's language, life in London, places to visit, and I also need to get a picture of him.

Some good Shakespeare sites are:

• Shakespeare Birthplace Trust - including an FAQ page, and portraits, amongst lots of other information
• Shakespeare Resource Center - including a biography, information on his language and plays
• Renaissance - the Elizabethan World - life in Shakespeare's time
• The Literature Website - Shakespeare articles
• Shakespeare's world - notes for teachers, with good links

Shakespeare's such a popular topic, it's hard to limit the number of sites! Remember also to use EPIC databases - available through your school or public library for articles. Good databases to use would be History Resource Center and Literature Resource Center.
